Coach Bios
Head Coach Scott McGilvray - This is Coach McGilvray's 2nd year with Sammamish Lacrosse Club... he served as the Head Coach of the 7/8 Tournament Team in 2011. Coach McGilvray grew up in Huntington, NY and earned all-Long Island honors as a defenseman at Huntington HS. He then attended Washington College in Maryland where he was a 4-year starter, and a 3-time All-American. In his Junior year, Washington won the National Championship and he was named the team's MVP. Upon graduation, McGilvray returned to his HS alma mater to coach for 1 year, and then jumped up to the collegiate level, where he coached for the next 3. Coach McGilvray has been involved with lacrosse, both as a player and a coach, for 25 years.
